Sony Xperia SP gets a firmware update, no Android 4.2 yet

The update includes quite some user interface changes and additions matching the looks of the Xperia Z.

India got update! almost all little bugs are fixed now! SONY is not making joke! I recommend people to use the device before putting bad comment on company. It is my 6th Xperia device. Sony you are the best always for me

    Screen & display quality - poor, strenght of bluetooth signal - bad.
    The rest of the phone- very good.

        galaxy s3 will get 4.3 update...samsung skip 4.2 update because there is not much different between 4.2 and 4.3 so they dont want to repeat the process and it will be easier for them, update starting to roll out in early october depend on your country or region

              Samsung allready said the S3 and note 2 will skip 4.2 and go straight to 4.3, while sony, htc and LG will probably be stuck on 4.2.

                Has anybody updated to this firmware?
                Kindly share if its worth updating or the .257 is better.

                  Stupid Samsung, after all this months since the 4.2 release still no update of the S3 , a device sold over 100 million. Shame.

                    Take your time Sony, it's not like you should already be thinking of 4.3 (not 4.2 or a delivery of 4.1). Oh wait...

                      The Sony Xperia SP won't get 4.2.2 as Sony have already confirmed that it will go straight to 4.3
