Sony Xperia SP gets a firmware update, no Android 4.2 yet

After updating , i cant make screen shot. And some time the fone restarting automatically. . Hw to to rectify this

I have this Sony Xperia c5302.
The keypad is locked and i am unable to use it.
is there any way i can unlock it?

Hi i have sony xperia sp......i have recently updated to 4.3 and after that i'm started facing camera problem....when i'm trying to open camera it saying "camera not available".....i have installed diagnostics app to find out what's the problem is....and when i clicked on camera it stuck.....and even when i make calls or i receive calls i cant able to hear anything or neither other person can hear me.....remaining all thing is working smoothly.....so if anyone have any idea what is the actual problem and how to sort it out so pls guide me.........need your help....

Including camera photo quality. I have to use camera 360 app for shotting photos. Lumia is high ending device. But sp is midrange device.

I am thinking of purchasing this phone... the only hitch i have is whether apps can be moved to SD??????......Is there any way we can do it......I am also aware that an update us just around the corner....any clue whether this is possible post the update?

Read your incredibly informative review of the update. Somehow I think you have the necessary expertise to guide me out of my below dilemma.
I cannot decide between Xperia SP and Lumia 920. The majors cons of SP which are deterring me from the device are :
1. The camera : Picture quality is way below Sony standard with bad low resolution pics and noisy pics. Low light pics are getting huge negative reviews. The screen is also not doing justice to the phone with being washed out display and bad viewing angles.
2. video quality does not measure up either.
3. Seriously bad wi-if range. My wi-fi range would be about 10 to 15 feet with a wall in between at times.
4. Less ppi compared to 920.
Plus when you are paying Rs 23k I don't plan to change the handset in at least 2 years if not 3 years. So I need to be at calm that my software will receive regular updates. What are the chances of XSP getting Android 5 after Kit-Kat. And I have to keep the resale value in mind when I get my next phone. Nokia enjoys certain respect while coming to resale. What are your opinions on that ?
There are things going for XSP too. Most important of which to me is the ADRENO 320 GPU. The battery is also marginally better in XSP and has a TV out too (does that mean with a HDMI cable attached to the TV I can play watch the games in the big screen ?).
I hope you get the quandary. Need your valued advice urgently.

Try to update with SONY Update Service Progarmme, available on the sony web side.

Hi m using xperia SP I had problems like freezing handset use to gets blank like switched off suddenly but I use to force restart by removing back panel
Now I wanted to know whether 4.2/4.3 JB wWillcomeup woth having option to move applications to sd card.like I had no option in Samsung grand but after upgrading to official 4.2 m having that option in grand so request you to confirm also can u let me know when will have that upgrade in Xperia SP

need help... I cannot update my SP with PC companion. got an error saying " sony update engine could not be installed"... tried several times. even switching off my firewall... but couldn't get it done.... :'(

I updated my sp with .254 version and encountered a fast battery drop issue. Pls leave some comment regarding with this issue.

Got this Phone 3 days ago and the screen locked and i couldn't get the touch to work. Reset... worked again fine. let hope it won't happen again...
