Yesterday, I've upgraded my xperia SP to 12.0.A.2.245 update after that i'm getting some minor issues as below,
1. Notification light (Music beat light) was on when playing Audio. It double checked the settings whether Music beat light is ON but it wasn't. Light was blinking even i turned OFF the LOCK button.
2. Getting some noise and unable to hear the voice after attend the CALL
3. When I press LOCK button getting some stripes on screen.

Hi Rahul, I am getting some problem while trying to update to 4.2.2 from 4.1.2 sony xperia SP. I am connecting it to my PC companion on windows 8 it detects that there is a update available for my phone and when I follow it up it gets stuck after rebooting the phone while pressing the voulme down key as they mention.. then nothing happens. I fyou have succssfully upgraded it can you let me know how to proceed ahead.. Plz help. let me know your contact no. or u can reach me on 9686100804

yeah maybe just firmware update digits changed

i got the update (i am in india) and downloaded it. The new UI looks very good. More settings options (wifi, BT, mobile data, backlight, sound, hotspot, gps, airplane, auto rotate and settings) on the notification shade means that i dont have to open the settings every time for them. been waiting for this update for a while, now im looking forward to what sony has in store for us in the next one :)

I still don't have the update for my XSP in Germany, which is very strange.. or is there an issue that you can't update with .257 root?

Just got this update today, and it's great update i think. the touch issue is finally fix. transparent on home button is awesome, also have quick setting on notification setting is also cool ^^

OK guys...
I want to share the experience after updating the phone to latest version. As i bought the phone[C5302 model] last week, the update was already seeding I didn't wait to use the older version..
following are the issues that i have found...
1)The screen goes to full black when wake up key is pressed (once a day).this can be rectified as we can press the power button twice(to lock and unlock it back) so that screen is back to normal.
2)My phone crashed once.
3)one time it didn't have any response to touch input. what i am saying is that the physical buttons work fine, waking the phone launching the camera but could not unlock the phone.
4)last but not the least
The USB mode have bugs in it. When I connect to other computer without installing the PC suite of Sony it doesn't respond, the phone wont hang but it doesn't do the USB sharing.. i had to restart the phone to get the USB sharing work normally.
(May b because my SD card is full around 1% free space, that may be reason...)

Also, did you disconnect your phone while updating? If your pc hangs, trying closing the pc companion first via "Windows Task Manager", only then disconnect your phone!

I would recommend charge at least 60% and then your good to go.
If problem still persists, try repairing your phone via pc companion(note that if you repair, you will loose all data)
