They are not dealing with it, they just pretend to do so. I have the issue and they are far from being helpful. Bought Chinese version but I reside in EU and they are declining any help. I won't but OnePlus anymore.

Ehem Samsung, Maybe they need to Learn and give Customer Lifetime warranty on thier Screen line problem too.

Sadly no big YouTubers like MkbHD and whosetheboss didn't address this issue even once. In countries like Bangladesh, there's no support for this green line issue. I can't use my Samsung note 20 ultra because of this. If a 1000usd flagship does my this, then what's the point of buying an expensive phone?

My OnePlus 8T faced the same green line issue a few months ago. OnePlus replaced the screen free of cost even when the phone was more than 3 years old. No other manufacturer is doing that.

Considering the company's gesture I went ahead and bought a OnePlus 12.

and have you tried searching apple green screen?

Ah yes "zero tolerance for quality issues"

Yet depsite this claim my op11 has been single handledly the worst phone I've owned.

Ya know mabye just mabye oneplus. If you oh I don't know.
Fixed the heating issues me and others kept having, HDR auto turning on with the camera, camera looking like shit a lot of the time, game tools where the power options litterly mean Jack, and allowed updates to happen while battery saver was on and make battery saver not reset my vibration and screen lock settings that I would be able to believe you.

But sadly that isn't the case.

You made an amazing tablet and dufflebag that I am forever keeping both.

                          But the oneplus 11?

Geneuenly the worst phone I've had.
Even worse than the s22 ultras that overheated to hell on E that to had to return.

As for now? I'm using an a35 for 1-3 years then getting a s24 or s25 ultra and then using it till it's is updated dry up.

For anyone reading this if you don't agree with me that's fine.
Just dont be rude about it please.

As the oneplus 11 I had was honestly just horrible.

Was great for the first 6 months.
But after the UI merge the phone's quality just nosedived so hard.

And I'm very salty I waated 960ish$ on the phone. (860$ for phone and a lot on accessories)

Love the onepkus pad, love the 10$ duffle bag.

But I hate the oneplus 11.

I will not be surprised if OnePlus took help from the videos of Mr. Techpedia YouTube channel, run by Divanshu. He guessed the causes of green lines to be humidity and hot weather, exactly what OnePlus is now showing. Divanshu suggested this in his video about a month ago already.

Well after looking at the overall phone market for last 13 years, the green line issue on amoleds started in 2020 (manufactured by samsung) and they are still present to this day on the s24 series. Iphones, xperia 5ii-iv, pixels and many more have suffered this due to poor manufacturing by samsung and it is not only limited to their displays i have seen phones utilising samsung manufactured chips suffer to although to a lesser extent but given samsung itself is investigating many of its entities for fraud is not a good indicator. They were cutting corners and the worst part is we as the customer have suffered and manufacturers haven't bothered enough in past 5 years to fix this now every time you buy a phone you would probably wonder whether your 1500 dollar phone would even last the next 2 years, which is a shame really cause the overall hardware since 2019 is good enough to last you at the very least 5 years.

Maybe the iQoo Z9x? Anything higher is likely to be oled. Or you have to buy those bulky and expensive enterprise phones.

In reality, it depends on the QC and build quality itself. As proven how OnePlus here explained the steps they're taking to reduce the likelihood of green line. But it's good that OnePlus is standing up.

Somehow many people here rather live with a screen that riskier to get green line and burn in that's more expensive to repair rather than a gray screen that's less expensive to repair. Oh wait, you don't need to repair IPS except if you broke it by accident!
