Poco has a lot of issues in India.
All models after poco x3 are affected here including the recent ones such as poco f5. It's a gamble buying Poco in India
Just google bro if you don't believe it.

The one that often bricks is the X3 Pro

Strawhat, 10 Dec 2024Redmi note for all around, poco is the new redmi note bro, ... moreI agree with that anon, While poco is the new redmi but poco has motherboard issues. My redmi note 4 still works well as a media/mp3 player on custom roms and works smooth for that purpose. Can't say that for even a 2 year old poco.

Fsubeya, 09 Dec 2024I'm waiting for the global version to upgrade to Redmi... moreSame here but I'd go with either Honor 200 or even the Xiaomi 14T. Waiting for reviews and pricing once it hits my country. Battery life seems to be too strong on this one to ignore it as a major factor, and that's one of my main requirements.

These phones will EXPIRE next year in terms of Software Updates...
As they offer only 2 OS updates and launch with 1 year older updates (-1) Android 14 when A15 is already out. So these phones basically have only 2 – 1 = Only 1 OS Updates Effectively...
On top of that, HyperOS does not allow bootloader unlock so people can load new software through Custom ROMs.
So these phones are useless when it comes to Software.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2024Finally someone who understood that IPS LCD screen is far m... moreI dont actually care what the screen is LCD or AMOLED. My experience is a lot of TFT and LCD screens and past 18 months or so with AMOLED as my first time that screen.
AMOLED is better for energy efficiency so you have more screen time and also with AMOLED screen you can make it close to bezeless so you have screen edge to edge.
So sadly LCD is now in the past even tough there are people who have eye issues with the flickering screen. Then again i think there are special glasses made for that case as glasses dont need to be for optical feature.

I'm waiting for the global version to upgrade to Redmi 14 Pro Plus. BUT, If the price sniffs close to $400, then I'd rather add extra bucks and get the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. 😅

Yeah, Pixels are great...if you like vanilla everything. Save for camera trickeries that Google only give to Pixel phones, I found that Pixel phones are really quite boring. And that's before even getting into build quality issues that still plagued Pixel phones.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2024Finally someone who understood that IPS LCD screen is far m... moreIn what world?
Other than the burn in risk OLED in phones is superior in absolutely every metric.
Faster respons times
Effectively infinite contrast
Brighter overall than pretty much all phone LCDs
Better HDR
Better SDR
The only thing worse in a phone screen would be VA with that aweful black smearing, or TN which is objectively the worst at pretty much everything.
Not to mention basically every mid range to high end phone these days comes with an OLED because the vast majority of global end users want them. The negative of burn in risk is far outweighed by all the other positives that are just better than LCDs.
If IPS was wanted you'd see them more outside of the tablet space.

rizki1, 09 Dec 2024You don't understand what I'm saying.. of course ... moreYeah, this competes against the likes of Samsung A55/next A56, Realme 14 Pro+, Moto Edge 50 Neo/Pro. None of these have focus on powerful processors, but are very well balanced overall in cameras, battery and build quality/finish.
