Silicon carbide is the way to go now. We wouldn't see it today if Honor hadn't started it all in the first place*.

I bet apple, samsung and google won't use this tech for another year so that they can use old hardware and fill their pockets.

IpsDisplay, 09 Dec 2024Phones with 5000mah makes me sick 🤢 disgusting dinosaur era... moreI thought 5000mah is better since I come from 3400mah but it's even worse for High spec phones. I'm using one plus but I really would like to know from Redmi and Infinix or Tecno equivalent mid ranger . Also nothing phone. I don't have samples to check yet.

6000 is better for flagships I think or more . If they can use the tech ofcource ! .

Also if anyone uses like those brands would like to know ! I personally want to try those phones to test and confirm but personal reviews also okay.

My old phones like Galaxy E5 don't feel like that. I put phones like one plus and red magic in home because I like collecting
And maybe I have OCD a bit. I'm typing this on Galaxy A10 and it kind of is 6.2" , horrible chin and bad notch but this don't poke

While I don't think big phones are nice. Red Magic deserves a pass. They made 7" phone and I am okay ith 7.5" too . Me too love zenphone. For gaming phones I don't mind them going experimental , just more phones to drool over.

I'd say if goal is to make feel premium with weight even cheap metal is okay. Really depends on them. Redmi has glass on some cheap phones and woah I was surprised their phones look more expensive from outside. Inside is uhhh... depends.

Last one I had to use software translated because Auto translate YouTube isn't accurate.

Mr whose the Boss also from there I think but really no need subtitles as he's one best option for all.

Beebom also comes into mind and another guy with spectacles. I didn't understood more than 70% of video but India also has great phone options so I kinda like to go both China and India as phone collector.

The Galaxy M series I think they make in India if im guessing right

WhoCaresTM, 10 Dec 2024They don't sell because they are low budget offerings.... moreAll the phones I mentioned are below 6 inches and no, they don't sell enough. Evidence being that Apple killed the Mini series after just 2 years.

And your imagine this with that analogy is broken. There's only so much you could fit in a given space. And Samsung's Ultra cams are nothing special compared to base variants other than zoom on paper.

The gym suggestion is not so you can use a phone. I mean, think about it. 200 grams is not that much. If someone is complaining about that being too heavy then it's safe to assume they got bigger problems.

I buy the most rugged cases for my devices and the last one combined with the phone was well over 300 grams (I checked) and I never felt it was heavy. I never even noticed it tbh.

People buy large phones because of FOMO, not because they want a device they can use for self protection if need be. Flagship small phones sell a lot, just look at how much more the base Galaxy S sells over the +. Now imagine if it had Ultra cameras and display.

Also, the reference was BECAUSE the first phone was that big, do I need to spell it out?

Hahaha the "go to the gym" argumenys are pathetic. Imagine your hand or pants growing in size after going to the gym, or even the need to go to the gym to use a technological device.

It should be as comfortable to hold as a TV controller or Xbox controller. Additionally, excessive weight will increase the chances of it slipping out of your hands and breaking.
