Strawhat, 7 hours agoTry to change from 120hz to 60hz broOh I've done that when I've needed to squeeze more battery in a pinch, but that's not a reasonable solution, neither definitive. The phone is just power hungry and poorly optimized.

Anonymous, 18 minutes agoI would go even as far as getting ov50m ultrawide on vanillaIsn't that sensor smaller than the JN1 though, while being more expensive than it? I get that it's stacked, but while stacked sensors definitely have increased dynamic range, their increase in sharpness (resolved detail) doesn't seem to be that impressive.
To be fair, I don't think this a bad sensor to use, and I'd be happy to see it being used on a mid-ranger so that I can be proven wrong about a comment I made a while back regarding this sensor.

But if you're a performance centric user, better just get a Poco or iQOO.

Pro and Pro+ should go with a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 for its ultrawide and give it macro, while the vanilla variant should get a 12MP or 13MP ultrawide. At this point this 8MP ultrawide thing is absolutely ridiculous. The Pro variant also should've had the same main camera as the Pro+. Also, fix the terrible camera processing (which, you know, they can do, considering their mostly good processing on their flagships); and give all 3 phones better selfie cameras.
Also, just like the Pro+ already does, the Pro variant phone should use UFS 3.1 at this point, it's inexcusable. Before you point fingers at me, the Dimensity 7300 does support UFS 3.1.

I only recommend Xiaomi to those who will use custom ROM. For regular consumers, I would advise them to stay away from Xiaomi.

not a chance, curved screens, no way. the base model is just terrible. also you have to have that awful os skin. it made me dump the 13 pro i had which otherwise would still be better than any of these.
