Anonymous, 30 Dec 2024Only minority of people believe 4 OS upgrades for flagship ... moreYes bro your worthless opinion.
Majorotiy of people buys best for best price which is chinese.
For example for half price company like Oneplus or Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme etc sells comparable flagships.
You can have even 100 years f updates but you wont get 100 years of warranty. In EU is 2 years outside EU is one year-
Do you think if a year and half old iphone dies because motherboard issues someone will fix it for same price as a new device???
Definitely not. That was just an example.
They buy new phone.
Even it will nto die lder phones starts more and more bricking.
Nobody want bricked phone.
Everyone or most people will swap their device for new one when warranty goes off because repair is expensive.
But its hard to explain to someone who talks more than thinks.

Anonymous, 29 Dec 2024Chinese brand = auto deal breaker.I don't want to upset you, but you don't have much choice.
You can choose from America, China and Korea, of which the Chinese have the best offer for every budget.
The times when Chinese phones were inferior in terms of software ended a few years ago. Currently, if you choose a flagship and compare the iPhone or Galaxy S, you won't notice the difference hardware is even better.

Anonymous, 29 Dec 2024no root = no fun = no buywhat would you need root for in 2024 regardless? most skins now offer good enough customization features and app modifications are easily possible without root. anything else you'd need it for are to fix minor inconveniences that are easily ignorable and don't detract from the user experience

Yes, i said minority of people, because majority of people buy flagship from Samsung and Apple that come with longer software support compared to the chinese one.
Now you can cry for your worthless opinion.👍

OnePlus are winners in general. They are doing a great job on their slab phones and offer better value than their parent company Oppo. For good reason as their main target market are western developed countries where the customers wouldn't tolerate the junk and ads in Oppo and Realme phones.
And kudos for OnePlus for giving 5 years of support. I agree that it's good enough for 99% of people, as even after 5 years, Android would still be usable 2 to 3 years afterwards as there are Google Play system updates and developers won't just abandon old android versions that quickly. Even Android 10 is still widely supported. Take example Microsoft OneDrive. It still supports Android 6 (while iOS version requires iOS16).
Loser is the OnePlus Open. Cheap third rate components sold at premium prices. Literally hyped up by tech youtubers, and they all went back to their iPhones after their reviews.

THEN t... moreYeah but even then I remember that my older op 10r had no ip rating but I accidentally dropped it in a bucket full of water but nothing happened, whereas one of my friend had an iPhone 12 mini with ip68 he said that he once dropped it in a pool and it stopped working lol

Loser: OS support definitely not. 4-5 years of OS updates is more than enough.
Most phones last 3-5 years.
Most people swap their phones every 2-3 years.
Sells their old device when it still have decent value and buy a new phone.

I'm not sure if OnePlus OS support is a "Loser", especially when the reality is that most people keep their phones for two to three years. Only some would push for four or five years of use, but even then they have already considered the replacement along the pipeline. OnePlus COO is still talking sense, especially when almost all smartphones don't have user-replaceable batteries.

They should have kept the IPS display for the ce4 lite. That series was the perfect one for older non tech savy people. Now they will ruin both their eyes and the display by keeping the brightness at 200%.

Samsung 7 years support is useless if they cant fix the lag

Is it compulsory to have a, new phone or follow up phone energy year? Why can't one phone continue for three years with good updates and support. Pear stop this trend of having a new launch every year and make technology sustainable and reliable.
