Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus in India is around 370Euroes for 256GB.
Moto gives stock Android experience, that's enough for me to switch to Moto.

7 Gen 4 isn't around the corner. Forget 7+ Gen 4.
8s Gen 3 was available in five products globally.
Let's wait 8s Elite to get launched. So far I am loving insane battery life on OnePlus 13 and iQOO 13.

I dont much care for the camera but Note series only one worth to buy is the Pro+ as you get your best cameras and performance for typical middle class. The exceptions are few with better performance like starting from 7+ gen 2 to d8300u to 7+ gen 3 to 8s gen 3 and now soon d8400 that all should be top end middle class or low end flagship.
If you are into cameras then the cameras are too toy for you. It's better to get 200 euro digital compact camera and do your camera hobby activities. While these compact digital cameras have optical zoom too a lot better then you can get from a phone.
Note series already year ago with 13 series didnt offer to me anything special and i was looking even poco X5 Pro at the time to buy and cause f5 come with 3.5mm jack i went with it and first time ever paid over budget something 150 euro for a phone
The performance was already a bonus and camera is just a toy or a tool for me and by toy i mean the one you know you have but never play with it so i dont need anything fancy for it.
I prefer smooth operation on my pocket computer over fancy camera as with time and all the software updates expanding and making old run slow at least it has enough to last me at least 7-8 years or 6-7 years from now as i have used it for something close to 18 months

Nothing comes close to all rounder phone in this budget as that of Moto Edge 50 Pro. Maybe Realme 13 Pro Plus but it is powered by really low grade processor.

It's just that, it isn't value for money anymore. This phone should not cost more than 25K as well. They have kept it at 35K which is insane price. You are getting iQOO Neo 10 Pro at that price tag. A lot better specs.

An S20 is better than an A55. Flagships will always have the better build quality, screen and even performance except on trashy Exynos
The only thing mid rangers win is with battery life
I used the S8 until 2022 when i upgraded to the S22 Ultra but back then i tested out the new at the time A53 and it felt worse than my S8 in pretty much everything besides having 120 hz which was a game changer

Samsung flagships have way better performance as even their 4 years old flagship have better performance then anything in middle class right now.
Well not everything as there are few that have like D8300U or 7+ gen 2/3 and soon coming D8400 but these are rare chips that you cant find in everything. 7+ gen 2 for example ended up only in 3 different phone models from 2 different brands. 7+ gen 3 got in a bit more and then that 8s gen 3

It sucked to have distortions on the edges when watching videos or reading ebooks that I have to adjust the ereader margins lol. Curved screens are also cursed to be stuck with hydrogel protectors if one is not willing to spend much for the rare/hard to find domed glass.

The main camera sensor on the 14 Pro is smaller then that of the Note 8 Pro from over five years earlier. I feel like it's a trend now to focus less on the camera in midrangers, after it has been the highlighted feature for pretty much any phone from the last few years.

Guys, I'm not trying to get any ridiculous, but given the price being asked for those models, it's hardly imaginable to buy.
They would start from €240 for (rather primitive) redmi note 14 4g, and then the all way up.
Is it worth it, i mean. 🙃

no mention of all the comments deriding the curved screens. the old 13pro is still better than the vanilla with a flat screen which is why that failed. please put a toggle to remove curved screens from phone searches.

This isn't just about software, if 12PM can get another 2 years... compare battery life, performance etc to this new mid range.

Unlike Androids, iPhones are supported for 7 years so the 12 pro max will continue getting new software updates for another 2 years despite it being a 4 year old phone where as the S20 from the same year has been dead in the water for a long time
With that said, if anyone is going for an older iPhone, i'd recommend the 13 pro max instead because of the smaller notch and 120 hz
