By my standards, any phone with a screen 6 inches or over isn't compact. Furthermore, all of the devices you listed are all phones that I wouldn't want to spend my money on. Xiaomi 14 isn't available in my country without import, so the missing cellular bands would give such a poor experience when not using it on WiFi. The s24 has good specs, but the fact that I actively despise One UI in combination with how unreliable Samsung devices and their customer service has been in my experience, its not a phone id be thrilled using. With the pixel 8a, not only is it built like a midrange phone and has specs that should have the phone costing $200 less, the uneven bezels and wildly underpowered tensor chip make it a dealbreaker. For the Motorola, a 6.4 inch phone isn't at all compact, and also Motorola's update policy just flat out sucks

Since I cant get a small phone that I'd actually like to use, I might as well get a semi larger phone that gives a good experience, so I got the Nothing phone 2

          What make a smartphone comfortable to use is not its thinness, but its width. So it is stupid of them to make a smartphone thin but wide in dimensions. Another stupid gimmick!
