Does it matter??? Phones today are thicker than phones of years back.... consumers dont care about how thick a phone is... if anything thay would prefer to have a thicker phone, thickness and mass = quality.... look at foldables, people clearly dont care how thin your pos phone is....

China phones on the other hand need bigger battery that people dont see how crappy their Software is 😂 Wait for S25U with SD 8 Elite and i promise they smoke all China phones despite they have bigger battery ✌️

Nobody with an healthy brain will buy an crap CPU phone which price is higher than Apple/Samsung Flagship 😂 If Huawei is smart they would sell flagships at 800-900 € in EU to catch some people but with 1499€ they will sell mostly only in China 🤷🏻♂️

Why not just make it smaller like 6.1" with 5000mAh battery or higher ffs. Making it slim will make it easier to bend.

Hoping that this comes about, I for one am sick of thicker, fatter and heavier phones and for someone that doesn't put a phone in a back pocket the risk of bending is minimal for me.

is anyone actually interested in a thinner phone? I mean, I would guess that almost anyone would take more battery life over a thinner form factor, which is also more prone to bending and stress on the frame.
Moderns silicon carbon batteries or whatever they are are capable of crazy capacities already, with some hitting 7000mAh in one of those androids, why not bring those batteries to Samsung and apple and really get a performance boost

I wonder how well these ultra slim devices will fare during bend tests. Personally I see no added value with this "renewed" craze for slim, slimmer, slimmest. We've been there already a few times in the age of mobile phones regardless if they are dumb ones or "smart" ones. I know that some people are going to react and prove that there is added value and that's fine as it is only my personal feeling and thus not everyone's. Too much compromises, just as in the past, and a proof that all brands have a serious issue to really be creative again so let's do what has already been done, this way we don't risk anything and we don't have to be truly creative.
