Thin phones are stupid
They're hard to pick up from a table, hold and have small batteries. They offer no advantage
Samsung already has garbage batteries so instead they should be making them thicker and adding bigger batteries
Now i'm not saying phones should be fat ugly bricks but i've been using an S22 Ultra for over 2 years (8.9mm) and not once did i think this phone was too thick

They said it will have same size as S25+ with 200mp camera.
I wonder how they could possibly make it thinner without sacrificing the battery. They would have done long ago if they knew how to do it...

Have you ever tried holding a bottle of water or some other light object up for a minute or more? It gets tiring and because of this impact, a few grams can make a big difference on a handheld device

Galaxy s10e is very slim phone, only 7.9mm and there is no point to go any slimmer than this if phone is gonna be bigger than s10e. I think they are out of ideas and some innovative stuff and thry don't know whst to do to sell new phones and now thinner phone is "innovation" and battery life is gonna be terrible, from 8:00 in the morning at 100% to 13:00 afternoon at probably 40% and it will be dead at probably 16:00h.

DarlingYext, 9 hours agoThin and light weight = cheap feelingOnly in your opinion which is not based on facts but on social construct. Meanwhile, a lighter device will factually put less strain on the wrist (especially when one handed, like I use my device right now because I’m eating pizza with the other), and so will be more comfortable and ergonomic, maybe even reduce the risk of degradation and injury long term.

Watch it be 6.9mm.
If I was like Cpt.Power and assigned technological advancement levels to physical properties, like when he says 5000 mAh is outdated, then I‘d say 6.x mm is outdated because it was already standard in 2015, and we should reach 5.x mm now.

Sounds promising. Anyone remembers the Ultra edition? I don't mean Galaxy S Ultra line, I mean the ultra thin edition, I had the U600 slider, it was such a head turner :D
