walkman8, 25 Dec 2024If you're correct, that would be in the Ultra territor... moreexactly, the phone's gonna have great zoom range consistency so you'd be happy to just use any lens at any time, and THAT'S why you spend more for an Ultra because it gives you peace of mind and allows you to have fun if you want to.

Also, I have yet to see truly good RAW results. They always look off. Can you provide any good examples?

Have you seen zoom photos on a samsung at night? they can win the oil painting award, vivo is the only phone that can do low light photos with the zoom sensor and still look good

Wait till you find out it takes 5 min to order from china just like from any other website , i swear some people think you need to ride your horse to china to get these phones, that's how they act.

An insignificant iteration from the previous generation. I hope at least they improve the image processing and don't raise the price to much.

I don't get why people complain too much about the processing when the RAW modes are just there with beautifully natural looking details and an SDR-esque shot. The SUPERRAW mode is an HDR-ified shot but still has completely soft and natural details.
Although i do agree that current sensor tech is not really needed, we need to go back to full high res sensors, not ones that bin down. Though these sensors that we have also have really good cropping capabilities now, the higher res sensors would just be better as these quad bayer sensors look really ugly and are full of artefacts in full res shots.

Vivo X200 Ultra will be using 35mm LYT-818 for main and also LYT-818 for ultrawide and the same periscope as X200 Pro.

Oppo has one of the best image processing algorithms in the market, and with the Find X8 and the Dimensity 9400, that phone does take some amazing pictures, even with a 1/1.56" sensor (lyt-700).
