Another fall in the sales of flagship.

The Flip main challenge is battery life. Not sure if switching to 2500 is a good idea. Why not just use Dimensity 9300?

I know nothing about Exynos's present (it's getting competitive), but it's just bad.

As I said, if they can bring the price back down to 999 as a result, then it's all good.

pl2rts, 27 Dec 2024Majority of the market dont know any difference in Exynos o... moreYea right .... Its a Flagship after all. There should be no cutted corners for the price they are asking.Thats why you buy a flagship to get the best of the best.Otherwise every midranger will do the same thing for smaller price tag.

Majority of the market dont know any difference in Exynos or Snapdragon and especially in the top end. Only the tech geeks in here complain about the chip the most. Actually tech geeks in everywhere complain about it the most. For average users there isn't much of a difference

When we talk about heating issues then all flagships have that issue and you see the difference only with measuring tools. As you wont feel the difference holding the phone. If the phone gets warm then it's already a problem for these sensitive people and they first go to blame the chip. Like it would be any different for them when the chip be from SD as what they do with the phone will also heat that chip up

So they want to further reduce the competitiveness of their products and make them less desirable? Ok. I wouldnt mind this move if it would include appropriate modifications regarding market and consumers: if phone would come with a significant price reduction, which would reflect using domestically made chips and bring benefits to the consumers. But we all know thats not gonna happen and Samsung will simply charge same or even more for a device with worse properties than the competition.

I wish them good luck. The semi conductor industry is incredibly complex and expensive and difficult, and because of this it really lacks competition. I wish Samsung gets as good as TSMC and TSMC itself also continues improving, and much more important, I wish for more and more players to join this space.
