If its any other brand the issues after would be serious but in case of Samsung they have money to afford everything.
Remember Note 7 case???
Took them 3 months and many major issues like burnt house or plane had to land due to smoke from a cell phone etc. 3 whole monnths until people in charge of Samsug realised something must been done before people will slaughter them like a wet sweaty pigs.
And even after first major fix and issues it took them many more months to say Note 7 series will be cancelled.
For company like Samsung or Apple they believe a software update can fix everything even a hardware issues.

      I still have one, and a battery pack that snaps onto the back. I used that phone for quite a long time. It is such a unique thing that companies will likely not re-create a phone like that again

        One drop on the floor without a case and it's game over

          This justifies price hiking their same old looking phones. 😂

            At this point, Samsung should just rename the vanilla S25 and S25 plus as the A Ultra series. Too many differences with the S25 Ultra.

              I'm wondering how many people here that don't like glass screen front from any brand available, that they prefer to use Motorola Moto Z2 Force's plastic screen solution that I've not seen in any mainstream brand since then.

Not all models are perfect but most are more than ok. For reference, Samsung sold their 4gb/128gb A15 for a little more than what I paid for a 8/256 Poco X6 pro. These guys are just riding on their brand name.

                    And pre-sanction Huawei nearly wiped out that brand.

                                  I really care about video quality and nitpick every small thing, it bothers me. This is an "Ultra" phone, not a midranger that can get away with mid display output. Most of what you consume in terms of movie/shows have dark content and SDR content is graded to be watched at 100 nits in a dark room, i like using my phone when going out and watching stuff, additional ugly graininess isn't something i'd want when watching already grainy footage.

                                  I guess it IS true, Ultra phone buyers are just normies now. That's how it is with iPhones as well.

My s24 ultra has heavy grain on zero brightness level, but it dorsnt bother me at all. Its the lowest brightness any phone has ever achieved and is obly usable in complete darkness, which is basically 30 seconds before you fall asleep.

                                      It doesnt bother me at all.
