Most economic systems (if not all really) combine elements of both. For example, private property is capitalist and social security is socialist. Increasing equality by better socialist parts while keeping foundational capitalist principles can make it so that more people have the chance for better education while the very rich do not have such obscene amounts of money that they spend $100k on a gold plated phone.

              Can't imagine something more stupid.
              Not only is gold on your phone beyond idiotic, but a phone more than 200g is considered a brick. This is an entire wall compared to that.
