They will keep ProMotion for Pro iPhones. I bet the vanilla ones will get 90hz with another marketing jargon like ProMotion Lite, HighMotion, TrueMotion, LiquidMotion, Or just simply Motion Display

Entire roadmap plans for display sector of iPhones already shared by Ross Young of DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants) since iPhone 13 series in the year of 2022 and subsequent release and the forecast have been proven to be right since then (about iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15's Dynamic Island's display).

Samsung already put this panel on the regular S24, meaning their yield is getting better. Besides, using the same panel means cheaper cost per panel for Apple. The Pro might get the anti-glare coating like the S24 Ultra though to differentiate.

That is reserved for the Pro iPhones due to the extra cost on the USB3 controller. Besides, there are Chinese flagships that are still USB2 as well. It's not an issue for majority of consumers.

I'll be very surprised if vanilla will get 120Hz. It would be too goodfor Iphone users. I think Apple will toss 90 Hz and will be proud of it.

- iPhone SE - USD 499 - 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Screen 60 Hz and USB 2.0
- iPhone 17 - starting USD 799 - 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Screen 120 Hz and USB 3.2
- iPhone 17 Pro - starting USD 1099 - 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Screen 120 Hz and USB 3.2
- iPhone 17 Pro Max - starting USD 1499 - 16GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Screen 144 Hz and USB 3.2
Pending how iPhone 17 Air/Slim does.

Well iphlone fans were always bragging about how samsung copied the apple greed and took out the charger and headphones, bragging about it like it would be the greatest feature drapple ever released... ah well... probably it is... but they never saw how apple literally rips android off, and not only android, but also companies, like blackberry, nokia, and sony.... well, maybe now they can see another drapple ripoff of android features, and to think this one is even more useless on an iphlone then on an android, what's clear, will cost more...200 more...apple math.
