PureOS, 31 Dec 2024No, we want bigger and bigger batteries every year.The limit is 27000 mAh. Because then, it’s a 100Wh battery which is the limit that’s allowed on airplanes (and is also the number the 16 inch MacBook Pro matches).

But it won’t happen because when the slim iPhone 17 model comes out, and when it has the same battery life as its predecessor with a smaller battery through better battery technology and more efficient components, instead of longer battery life than its predecessor at roughly the same weight, that‘s what every other manufacturer will copy because they can’t think for themselves.

    It sounds great but is it? Looking at the battery performance of Xiaomi (or Redmi) phones lately you ask yourself if these bigger batteries will effectively better performance, meaning more (much more) than one miserly day on average. We'll see. Their Hyper OS didn't bring the promised efficiency in that department (and any other department compared to MIUI in my opinion). Still great phones but not any better than other rivals.

                    6550mah is huge capacity,nice job this time Xiaomi.

                    I hope they won't reduce the battery's capacity when they release it as the Poco X7 Pro.

                      like eliminating the horrible looking camera protrusions that prevent the phone from laying flat on a table, making the phone 2mm fatter thus having twice the space for a bigger battery, could fit a better cooling solution in all that newfound space
                      You seem like the kind of person that would LOVE a 4mm thick phone(with another 10 as a camera bump) but it'd be a horrible experience if you actually used it

                                6550 is a nice number, can we please keep it at that and make the phones lighter in the future with technological advancements instead of bigger and bigger batteries?

                                  The Meizu (esk) clean design was too good to be true.

                                  Oh well, still clean enough and nothing a plain skin won't fix.

                                  The LEDs seem nice but odd. Why not just combine the ring LEDs and Flash to further clean it up and maybe even save some space. Not that Flash takes too much soace but a stealth/hidden flash sounds cool to me.

Xiaomi 15 is a good phone but basically no camera improvement over the Xiaomi 14. I guess they want to get one more year out of the upright telephoto so they have something to upgrade next year.

                                      If this price same as for the old X6 Pro, or somewhat higher. This will be killer.
