        A crap eyynos chip and a virtual proximity sensor for $500 in a world where we can get:
        Snapdragon 8 gen 3
        Telephoto sensor
        Wireless charging
        Silicon carbon batteries (heck even the poco x7 pro will have this tech even though it will be much cheaper)
        1.5k, 12 bit, dolby vision enabled displays with >4000 nits of peak brightness, etc

              In a world where we have Redmi and Poco, charging £439 for this mid-ranger is absolutely ridiculous.

              From many years of those overpriced mid-rangers, I made the move to Xiaomi 3 years ago and haven't been happier. Heck, I bought my first Poco (X6 Pro) a year ago for £350.

                  My only wish is for Samsung to switch ODM and design the A56 to be less bulky than the A55. The A55 is embarrassing , weighing so much yet having small screen and battery.

                    Have to wait for the review on the new chip and it's thermals. Please let it be as good as the 1480 which was one of their best chips in recent years. Hopefully they'll throw in a freebie like a Watch Fit 3 or Earbuds at launch.

                    Over to Nothing with the NP3a/NP3a+ to see what they can offer.

                      and it will weigh gazillion grams to break your hand. no thanks. I'll go with the S25.

                        Hope it retains the sd card slot, or else this line of phones are useless.

Now Apple is also gonna be forced to leave 60Hz that still plagued their lowest tier non SE model.

                              The phone has been beaten by Realme 14 Pro+, Redmi Note 14 Pro+, Edge 50 Pro and others. It's performance matches the 888's but there's nothing interesting about it. Its competitors also perform fast.

                                I heard that a56 comes with dynamic amoled,is it true.

                                  Still no Silicon-carbon battery, and maybe still no hardware proximity sensor

                                    Please no virtual proximity sensing, use proper hardware proximity!

                                        Also 1080p isn't a deal breaker, the pixel density is good enough for a mid ranger, even if higher res would be nice.

                                        Imo.
