      GoodLock? Why are people excited for this? It doesn't do anything well at all. The one hand+ and home up are really the only useful things out of all 20 or so sub apps. Every thing is very superficial in it's implementation. Have you tried making a custom anything theme with the software it's total dog shit.

        Now, I'll provide 2 examples of such built-in features:
        1. On One UI, one could enable airplane mode without WiFi and Bluetooth getting disabled automatically. A feature that eliminates a major annoyance for me and saves me time from having to manually re-enable those connectivity options and, in few cases, manually reconnect some devices.

        2. Then, there's routine with its rich options. A power-user's dream. It eliminates my need for Tasker/MacroDroid. MIUI added a very barebone automation feature a couple of years ago, but it obviously didn't come anywhere close.

                        Quit the red herring. I simply asked you to establish your comparison of this with Apple—which you don't want to accept is wrong. Then, also your claim that One UI's customizability is just average, and that any skin can be customized as much as One UI + Good Lock. Couldn't substantiate those claims? I'm not surprised!

They were popular and sold very well. They popularized big phones. Having unique selling points such as the S Pen doesn't make a product a niche product. Also, having some niche products don't make the company niche. The Sony Xperia Pro is a niche product, but Sony isn't a niche company.

                              Holding my overall judgement until it actually releases, but in regards to first impressions, it doesn't sound too bad. I'll certainly give this a try.

                                        Hoops? So much trouble? I only installed Fine Lock (NiceLock is also good), then grabbed the modules from apkmirror. Unless I had an issue, I very rarely update them. That is not to justify the geo-locking, mind you. I definitely would rather it being available in my location. Would make it easier, sure.
