The variant 6/128 with 5G connectivity is of course interesting to shadow transsion product in this segment. However the estimated price of 12000 inr seems a bit high although we know the 5G connectivity within it. GSMArena indicated 5160 mah is an upgrade for the battery from earlier model but this is I believe a mistake. They still share the same battery capacity at 5160 mah according to Xiaomi Indonesia official site. This new model are currently for India market. Unsure if it will also penetratre Indonesia market as the previous model has its balancer 8/128 4G variant which might create slight issue to choose between those 2 models. But for people under 5G coverage area I can see it shouldn't be a matter.

but it's so unfortunate that C series with 5G won't enter indonesia, what we get is a 4G version with 5 year old SoC. imagine if once they entered, we would get another successor to redmi 10C.

I mean, I insisted my father back then to get her Redmi 9T, even the vanilla Redmi 9 instead 9C in 2020 but he refused and still purchases her 9C to my frustration, despite 9T and 9 was better for future proofing and USB-C connection, so I think the situation won't change, although thankfully with EU enforcing USB-C this time, I won't be that stressed this time if my father purchases her Redmi 14C, unless Redmi 13 or 14 get sufficient discount that my father will take that. I'll informed you when my grandma will get her new Redmi.

At this point, whats the difference between Redmi and Redmi Note series ? Redmi supposed to be compact version of Note series . But now every phone are too big to used in one hand or fit in pocket .

They are cheaper so you get cheaper specs, it's not a concept hard to understand, no matter how much you want to remain ignorant about it.

Xiaomi's upselling is dumb and cannot be justified, same as any other brand if/when they do this. Tecno gives exactly what I was saying on phones that are priced the same, so Xiaomi has no excuse here.

Give the base model 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage (at the same price of course), the middle model 8GB of RAM and the most expensive model 256GB of storage and I wouldn't complain."
The Redmi C series are a tier down below the Redmi Note ones, and only started getting 6GB RAM on their base models recently, so it was only logical that their lower tier (C series) would be inferior in this regard. Give it 1 or 2 years for that to happen, complaining about it today is meaningless knowing how Xiaomi operates.
