Is it worth buying a brand new phone with 3 years old camera sensors at very premium price.samsung phone looks overated.i am using s22+ and I suppose to upgrade to s24+ but didn't now s25+ gonna take very little changes so it mean not upgrading to s25+ too.i have to see alternative options to get the latest and most modern tech in hand.

You can expect it to be the same oversized featureless garbage of the past 5 generations, this time with a ROM that also tries to copy the fruit phone, as if it were a generic Chinese phone.
Because crappy fruit phone knock-offs are all TM Roh knows how to deliver.

Flagship specs on a smaller form factor (6.3"-6.5") would be nice. I have an S24 Ultra and it is too large of a phone.

Looks like the cameras are basically the same again. Hardly any upgrades apart from the latest processor. Still it's one of the few compact Android options. Still quite a bit more compact than the Xiaomi 15 for example and the Xiaomi 15 is also offering very few upgrades on the Xiaomi 14 also but at least they've bumped up the battery capacity. This year's standard models from Samsung, OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi have all been a bit disappointing for cameras. Basically no camera hardware upgrades from any of them

Same junk we're getting on EVERY other phone with a slight visual appeal being different and a different ridiculous BRAND name! Like Gen Z2 having to rename every 10yr old phrase for no reason at all but try to look cool but it never is.
And pricing snafu based on the model you buy? LMAO Google is hurting HARD to get you all sucked in.
I love my S23 and Samsung lost me with no 512GB storage option on the S24 and only the same 8GB RAM that my S23 had. Even my iPhone 13 Mini had top storage of 512GB storage!!!
Apple's 'Intelligence' is looking REALLY like a born imbecile ... but at LEAST they're trying things differently and not just a simple UI - even if a few features where there in Mac OS X Puma to Panther.

thirteen, 07 Jan 20254,000mAh battery? No silicon-carbon upgrade? That's a bummerSilicon-carbon is not a miracle solution. For now, they are the future, just not quite efficient enough yet. Kinda funny how people always say numbers aren't everything yet they seem really set on Silicon-carbon being a must just because of said big numbers.

Seems like galaxy S21.4 will be announced with more AI data collecting tool... really hope samsung actually improve the camera and battery instead

The question is, will both S25 and S25+ finally have any form of autofocusing on their Ultrawide camera lens or will it missing it out again? Because vanilla iPhone 16/16+ and vanilla Reno13/13 Pro already supported it and yet Samsung hasn't trickled down that feature from the Ultra at all... Even Xperia 5 II was given Dual Pixel PDAF feature in its ultrawide lens after Xperia 1 II has it from launch. Because this is just embarrassing...

When S25 released on my country, I will use this chance to buy S24 Ultra at reduced price. That's yesteryear flagship should sufficient to replacing my aging 2019 OG Xperia 1. My said X1 is already had some hardware failure and battery degradation. Will missed the SD card slot though.

Any flagship sold with fewer than 7 OS upgrades and mediocre UI is a SCAM.
Still no software improvement from chinese flagship in 2025. Maybe chinese brand are happy with low sales of their flagship.
