Since you sell your phone after using it for 2 years, it would still be officially supported by the manufacturer for another 5 years which could yield you a higher return or if you exchange it in favour of a newer model, it could get you a higher discount on your new phone!

I will not be upgrading this year to an S series... but i do keep an eye out on whats new and its tech...
Although i am kind of worried about its sale in countries where the dollar has gone up compared to local currencies due to Mr carrot spilling fake news again....
In south america for example...it will cost around 6x more plus taxes when it arrives for the Brazilians...

Using a Vivo V30 now (12gb ram 512gb storage) and absolutely love this cellphone. Battery life off WiFi is significantly better than the Samsung's I have used before. They also include everything in the box unlike Samsung. The fast charging is actually fast charging. I get home change my clothes make a cup of tea and my battery is full again in that 20 minutes. Battery life degrades and cellphones lose their value rather quickly as well which is why I upgrade every 2 years. Can sell it while it's worth something. That 7 years of upgrades is nice but trying to keep that cellphone in good condition is another story.

Also how much is South Korea different from China being in the same region and similar culture ? Just cause South Korea is under the thumb of USA makes them more reliable in tech ?

If price for S25U will rise up - I'm out. I'm not paying more for the same S24U in slightly different shape. I can't pay more for the same camera setup. Especially for the ancient 10MP upscaling garbage 3x.

Hikari, 10 Jan 2025I know people with old xiaomis and one one pluses. Please s... moremy phone (S22 Ultra) got nuked within 2 years, with updates. It bugs out more often, it has more glitches/crashes. Some other guy uses an S23 Ultra and even he has problems with his battery life and is thinking of switching.
I knew it from the start yet people don't want to believe it due to their fanboyism, updates are great on paper but in practice they nuke phones. No one really uses phones for longer than 3-4 years. If they do, they either can't afford a change (completely valid and im NOT shaming anyone) or don't really care about updates. Most normal people would be fed up with the nuking that updates induce.
Way back, we used to mock iPhone users for holding on to broken iPhones, now the same could've been said of Samsung fans but they just keep on switching phones regardless OR they just use midrange phones lol, they don't really use the phones long enough for the longer updates to matter. They use niche cases that don't really happen much as the basis for their choice.
Most people online watch reviews and stuff to have positive feedback on their purchase/favorite brand, not for objective knowledge.
