    Anonymous, 10 Jan 2025Yeah..but in 4 years from now Samsung and iPhone user still... moremost people also won't mind their phone not updating. only apps not working. and most apps do still work for phones that are 7 or 8 years old and have only had 2 os updates. my brother has had an s8 since it release till a few months back when he decided to upgrade because the phone physically looked bad. another relative is using an old a8 from 2018 with no issues. you're not thinking straight. you're overestimating the importance of updates, yes they're good but they're not the be all end all, you're actually only using this argument because it's the only one you have left to justify not going for anything that's not samsung or apple.

          Yet, most still choose to switch phones in 3-4 years, if not less.

          Makes no difference, if anything the hardware is less and less capable to run the latest OS and becomes slower with every update.

              Many don't get a salary hike of 100$ per year because the companies are greedy and reward the entitled shareholders instead, yet same companies are increasing their prices for absolute no reason besides profits, not blaming only Sammy here, every company does this. When they not sell enough, they make a Pikachu face, ignore the actual problem, complaints that targets were not reached and proceeds to fire people to reach said goals. F them all

                Those don't look like real prices at all, still a price hike is expected due to chipset, but even so when they barely change anything it shouldn't cost more just because of one component.

                  i don't mind, samsung da best!!!!111 it's good that they're raising the prices, these phones are worth even more than this i tell you!!!1

                          potato4k, 10 Jan 2025That SD8 Elite is not cheap people. You get what you pay for. Yet it can be had for far cheaper already, and since the S25 series is basically the same as the S24 series with a better chipset, it should be cheaper if anything.

                                        They can shove their expensive phones... I don't even care at this point. Rather get spied by Chinese than pay a fortune for a phone... Xiadomi here I come!
