These are indeed new, because the hardware is quite different from the Note 14 series that launched in China and India last year.

            This is ridiculous. Expensive and marginal upgrades. Not worth at all.

              Pathetic move from xiaomi. It was exciting when they unveiled the chinese version... Many people I know including me waited for the global release, and we get this? No thanks, you can keep it.

                    Xiaomi cooks it to perfection when it comes to downgrading the global models compared to the Chinese ones. Pathetic move Xiaomi. I was actually a bit excited for the 14 Pro+.

                      I like them both.

                        As rumored, they butchered the 14P+ Global variant, which was their main attraction this year.

                        - No telephoto in exchange for a useless macro.
                        - Battery down from 6200mah to 5110mah.

                        They killed the two big improvements it had over the past generation. Absurd decision. As if the western market is worthless, so why bother. Just do the bare minimum.

                        I strongly recommend no one buys into this deceitful behavior... This is an awful move from Xiaomi and it should not be supported, neither encouraged.

                          What were they thinking?

                            That angle makes it look like the camera is off center. I really hope not

                              Honestly new Pocos are a lot better than this.
                              500 is way too much and no new SiCa battery why???

                                cirved screen is an outdated trend from eons .... samsung who invented that doesn't use it anymore since galaxy 20. bbk and google dropped that too ... only xiaomi and huawei seem to live in the past !

                                    This is completely DOA, worst Redmi Note hands down

                                      With this downgrade pretty much get a poco phone if you are outside of India. If they released the same device globally, you could decide if you prefer better camera or better performance between the 14 pro+ and x7 pro but now it really be no reason to get this.

                                        Nice one Xiaomi, you've officially lost the game against the Realme 14 Pro+, the non-global variant could've been a winner, this one is just another phone of the many already out there.
