New Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ arrive in Europe with 200MP cameras and curved displays

These are indeed new, because the hardware is quite different from the Note 14 series that launched in China and India last year.

€500 for 8gb 256gb for the pro+ is very steep. The pro might make a bit more sense. At least it gets a decent main camera unlike the Chinese and Indian variant of the pro which got a massive camera downgrade. €400 for the 5g pro is also quite expensive. Much better alternatives for value than these two in Europe by going for and older phone. Basically Redmi is fast becoming just another overpriced brand in Europe. That's what always happens though when brands become more successful. They start increasing profit margins so it's no surprise. Can't imagine it'll stay at this price for long though

Absolutely pathetic move from Xiaomi. We get the same gimmick camera, the same csmall battery, almost the same crappy SoC performance and pretty much everything else the same as the already much cheaper 13 Pro+ for 50% (!) higher price? 14T is WAY WAY better deal for lower price.

More west-taiwanese spyware and influence in Europe...

Sadly it is not the same as the Indian variant..

So the biggest upgrade it seemed like we will get, when it comes to the rear camera setup is something we won't actually get, instead we get the same 200mp camera, which is nothing impressive. Plus a smaller battery than the non-global version, with faster charging.

Good job Xiaomi for massively downgrading the Note 14 Pro+, yet keeping the same name, this isn't the same device, nowhere near it, and it doesn't deserve the name. This should've been called Redmi Note 14 Plus, or better yet this should've been the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and what Xiaomi has actually launched under that name, shouldn't exist.

And vivo x200 series goes on sale in Czechia today.
