Samsung Galaxy S25 full specs revealed (again), detail changes from the S24 series

Long story short, there's a new chipset - and it will be a Snapdragon everywhere - plus things like more RAM for the S25 and a new ultra-wide camera for the S25 Ultra.

      Same Panels like last year. Same Sensors Like Last year. Same Batteries like last year. Less features on S25U. but price hike for an cpu upgrade? seems 2025 is not that important for samsung.

So it could be the best phone in hardware, but it’s pointless as it won’t even be available for people to buy. Meanwhile the S25 will be available in pretty much all markets around the world.

      And we have not even gone into software, where OneUI is simply superior.

      Can we stop with whining about the wrong stuff? - "There's no point in upgrading my S24 Ultra to the S25 Ultra" - then don't and be happy - you save a boatload of cash AND you still have a great phone in your hands.

      People on the current generation of flagships don't get to say how good or bad of a value the next one is...2 generations down the line - sure, but the very next year - lolno.

          More or less the same here; if I were in the market for a new cellphone Scamsung would be off the shortlist by now. In the past they'd be the go-to-brand for the maxxed out HW spec sheet, but now they've fallen behind the competition so much it isn't worth waiting it out for them. Depending of what I'd prioritize first, I'd go for the Ultra version of one of the big 3 chinese brands (Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo) for a camera smartphone, Oppo//OnePlus, Vivo or Honor for a fold, or the Honor Magic6/7 RSR for a max mem device without having to compromise (too) much on other aspects of said device.

            Samsung just wants to approach updates incrementally as there's almost nothing new to innovate besides AI and better photos.

              Which means it's a very cheap thing to put in . So there must be a reason why they aren't doing it.( them , apple and pixel too , everyone but Chinese basically )And there is ..guess what the reason is ?!

              Yes , I'd rather have fast charging on my ultra , but there's a reason for it... And at the end of the day , it's only like 20-25 mins at most difference from 0-100 % ..you can live with that , considering everything else you ge..t If it was an hour difference or more , then would have been a different story .

                  everything is disappointing in those s25

                  samsung those last years :
                  -completly bugged, unusable S22 series
                  -bad QC in every of their products
                  -shitty customer service in a lot of different countries
                  -every year upgrades being completly negligible, and this s25 series is even more of a disappointment (and let's not talk about the GALAXY TAB S10 series, which even had the 11inch model disappear xD)

                  yeah, and I am saying that as a big samsung user
                  but they really are getting destroyed by the chinese companies in everything hardware wise, except for the display because of the anti reflective coating

                  let's hope they will make with bixby what every other manufacturer failed to do as of now, which mean a good AI which is well implemented into the OS

Si/C batteries d... moreNaah, I don't think they will use it in the next couple of generations, they will just stay with their mediocre cheap 5000mAh batteries to make themselves look like the good guys that don't use the new technology, because said new thing is bad, and fast charging is also bad, so they will stay with 25W-45W.
