      Worse, those fast charging the Chinese are doing are all proprietary. You need their cable (which is why they’re all still in USB-A chargers) and charger.

Their batteries are often composed of two battery cells that are charged separately, 45W each. But then they market it as "90 Watts". (2*45) or three batteries charged at 40 Watts each but then they tell you it's "120 Watts" charging.

        Samsung (+ Apple + Google) don't try to mimic what the Chinese have done. They're all charging one large battery cell. (In the case of Apple, their charging takes up to two hours because Apple thinks that's the best way to preserve battery life on the long run & to avoid swollen batteries)

        The manufacturers advertising crazy-wattages don't care about temperatures. They don't follow a safety-first approach. In fact, they would love for your battery to get swollen so that they could sell you a new phone. (Planned Obsolescence)

          Most chinese phones does 80-125W so having laughable 45W in 2025 is really weird. Samsung really loosing everything past few years.

          Year after year chinese brands improves lot more than Samsung or Apple or Google. Those 3 making only laughable cosmetic changes but acts like they changing whole world.

                    But then Unihertz Jelly Max with 66 watt charging comes to mind, a phone much smaller than S25 but even Zenphone 10.

Samsung had at best 15W charger in the box when they last had one in the box

                                      What does it matter that it have the 45W charger when you need to buy the brick to have the 45W as you dont have the brick in the box and older Samsung chargers didnt give you even that 25W when they still had the brick in the box
