Oh, that China only X200 Pro mini? Yeah that thing is bigger than even the regular Galaxy S.

    What would be the point of this phone if it ends up being largely a rebranded ROG Phone 9 Pro, just like the 11 Ultra was a rebranded ROG Phone 8 Pro? We don't need these stupid, aimless rebrands. The Zenfone lineup should've kept offering compact flagships as there's a clear market for that. That made the Zenfone series actually unique and interesting, instead of what is is now. So either they kill it or they bring back the compact form factor

In reality, it wasn't that much smaller than the regular Galaxy S, while the Galaxy S sports triple camera setup. And reality kicks in as Asus dropped it. It means the sales wasn't that great.

        Watch it just be a ROG Phone 9 reskin.

        Seriously, I don't get the point of the Zenfone anymore. It had a point when it was a compact Android flagship. Now it isn't.

          Asus goated with Zenfone 10, then the rest of newer Zenfone turned into another soulless generic slab, no more unique.

              should bring back Max series and forget this flagship.. flagship for Asus enough for ROG series. Aren't you surprised how Nothing is now bigger than Sony, Asus, HTC etc at the moment? I'm in Indonesia. Nothing gets more attention on YouTube than these brands even though Nothing is not sold here. You can also check other YouTube channels and there are more views for Nothing than these brands.

                  If the design is good and the price is lower than the ROG phone, I might consider getting either the S25 any or the Zenfone 12 ultra.

                    I do wonder if its going to be as disappointing as the 11 Ultra. It just cannot have a 13MP sensor at its price point, nor can it have the singular 50MP sensor anymore when the competition has 2-3 50MP sensors.

                      Was the Zenfone 11 Ultra not a big enough flop for Asus to realise they should focus on what they were good at?

                      Come on asus just release the successor to the Zenfone 10 already, whether it's the Zenfone 11, or 12 doesn't matter.

                        Asus is stuck at 6.78 inches of panel, it's time to go to 6.9

                          if they are not planning on the compact zenfone, just called it Zenfone 12 in 6.8" screen atp. there is no sense using ultra name without regular accompanying

                                    At this point if a phone has "ultra" or "+" in its name, i'm automatically not interested.

                                      It's so sad that they've killed the compact Zenfone.
                                      Despite the fact that the S24 sells more than the S24+, that Apple is gonna launch a new compact iPhone and that we've got phones like the Vivo X200 Mini and Xiaomi 15 which are a good compromise for those who want compact with big battery.

                                      They could increase the screen size to 6" while keeping similar external dimensions. I think the screen was too small for most people. Also the design wasn't great. But if they fixed that, the phone would be more successful.
