But I will not be getting another Xiaomi device because of the poor battery life.

        It is very interesting to evaluate battery performance based on battery size rather than price. So, would it be better if they added a 4500 mAh battery to this price and the device could use this size at full efficiency and get around 11 hours of screen time? So this screen time is quite nice for its price. In the comments people are comparing it to phones with LTPO screens that cost hundreds of euros more, or phones with bad screens and bad chips that don't consume much power anyway (I'm aware that Xiaomi fails with software)

            The point they were trying to make is that this phone has a terrible battery for the size of the cell. How does that make them an apple fanboy?

              Either it's the chipset (power hungry or due to the all big core design) or the HyperOS not being optimized. Could have extracted

                Bad mobiles don't waste your money

                  Like always Chinese proved that they can't make decent software. Thx but I rather splash 1k euro for decent phone and software then 400 EUR for crap software

                    The SoC we cannot comment of course, but looking at X7 vs Nothing phone 2a/2a plus we can clearly see the issue with Xiaomi Poco devices.. doesn't look like SoC issue, so software is the main culprit

                      it's a joke to have such score with 6000mAh battery, OnePlus 13 which has even more powerful chip and same battery got 15:28h and Galaxy S24 which got only 5000mAh battery got 13:49h score, SoC there is also more powerful and made on 4nm

That uses the same technology and have same capacity, yet have one of the best endurance rating in this website, and charging is also pretty fast. So it is not really the technology to blame here
