crazy how despite making basically only flagships, Apple STILL has so many sales. The sales are said to be worse than expected and they're still leading the pack with a 7% lead over Samsung. Can't even blame most people, Samsung flagships cost closer to Apple devices in most places and back then they used to be FAR superior overall but now, not so much, so if the prices are close enough, why WOULDN'T an average person just go for an iPhone?

Samsung needs to either improve their phones significantly or reduce prices to compete better but they won't, they seem to like being Scamsung.

What's even crazier is how Transsion has such a huge market share despite being relatively unknown for most people. Congrats to them for still putting up a tough fight.

Kinda funny how Oppo isn't in the top 5 tho lmao their Reno series phones just stink now, Realme has oversaturated the market with models and only Oneplus is fairly competent but that won't still be enough due to the bad reputation they had with their greenline problems. I don't really blame people, they handled it very poorly in the past and are only now promising to fix. Actual user reviews are needed to properly judge them.

This is Q4. Of course the numbers will skew towards Apple as they just released new iPhones in September.
Q1 number will show Samsung raising in numbers as the S25 is just released.
And so on and so forth. The trend is quite predictable for the top brands.

I'd estimate 50-70% of people upgrade phones within 3 years and 90% change phones in 5 years. I know people who use 2 phones so if you count them using a different new phone as an upgrade then i'd say 95% of people change phones in 5 years. That's just the general trend i see where i live at least.

Apple can thank all the emi services for this india sales.

I'm pretty sure that BBK, which Vivo is part of, would have a lot more market share than Transsion Holdings. Not sure why Vivo is listed separately..

1.22 billion shipments in a year, that's super many people want a phone nowadays.. While I'm still using the 2021 phone, people seem to upgrade almost every year.

Nah mates can't you see the brand 'Others' is leading with 32% market share. Clearly people want Other phones than iphones.
