A phone with longer updates will hold the price up for longer periods. Samsung it’s notorious for faster downfall of market value compared to iPhones. Personally i keep my phone 3-4 years and then i give them to my parents. They aren’t power users but it’s good to know they got at least 2-3 years of security updates, basically like a new low/mid range.

      So basically the same S22 Ultra with a flat screen. Samsung is now taking out as many features as they can, zero innovations since S22 Ultra yet the price is higher. This year I'll go with Oneplus 13. It's not the best that's for sure but at least I'm not buying the same phone for years.
      Shame on Samsung for scamming people with the same phone for years !!

            Anonymous, 2 hours agoBro the s24 ultra is not cheaper than an s22 ultra. I don&#... moreprice drops. I got my S22 Ultra for 1200 dollars in October 2022, 12/256 version. I can now get an S24 Ultra for 1000 dollars, been the same thing since September/October. In Sept-Nov 2023 the S23 Ultra was available for 1100 dollars, for the 12/256 GB version.

            The launch prices of Samsung phones are horrendous but they fall in price quicker than a plane that has been shot down. The S24 Ultra was around 1400-1500 dollars at launch where i live.

                    What Genshin? Ever tried an A16? I wouldn't wanna play Candy Crush on that thing. Even the UI lags lmao

                      So, I'm guessing this release will yet again see one of the key features of the top Qualcomm chipset disabled - Snapdragon Sound. No aptx adaptive or lossless on a Samsung handset.

                        Anyway just because chinese brand doesnt have the ability to give long software support, that doesnt mean long software support is bad.

                        I still see many people using their 4-5 year old Samsung phone/iPhone. You only need to go outside more often.
