It's a very good periscope setup and covers a nice zoom range. The 3x will be by far the best amongst the competition as Xiaomi is supposedly just using a 1/1.95" for 3x and Vivo won't even have a 3x. Every single rear sensor is superior to the Oppo Find x8 pro. Main, 3x, 6x and ultrawide are far superior so I really don't see what you're on about. Latest rumours is that it may get a pure straight screen too so it might have a different screen than Oneplus (although possible just a straight version of the same screen)

      So essentially this is supposed to be the Find X7 Ultra (global version), packed with features such as a downgraded 3x (the LYT-701 is a 1/1.95" cam and the IMX890 was 1/1.56"). It's icking me out, the Find X6 Pro and X7 Ultra had the IMX890 and that was the headline feature, then the X7 Ultra got the LYT-700 UW cam which was great overall but poor in terms of details compared to the previous phone, and now they're taking the huge 3x away as well. If the phone is priced at 1500 euros it would NOT be worth it unless it's the 1 TB version.

      Essentially the main differences compared to the Find X8 Pro would be :

      the UW Cam, the Main cam, a higher res screen (the same as the OP 13), an Ultrasonic scanner (the same as the OP 13) and perhaps faster charging/a slightly bigger battery. They intentionally nerfed the Find X8 Pro so that the X8 Ultra's stagnation doesn't seem as bad. Very weird year and it kinda reminds me of the pre-Find X6 Pro days of Oppo where they weren't pushing everything and just seemed like a pretty nice global offering.

      I guess like the Find X5/X3 Pro, this phone is going to brag about design but without the extra bragging rights they had back in the day due to the massive UW cam. At least this phone is going global ig? Don't really know how to feel about it. If the product manager has to mention the telemacro capabilities, that the last phone had, then the expectations must be rock bottom lmao
