So people with their "outdated", "super old" and "cheap" S24 series devices and Flip/Fold6 models must wait until the newest phone comes out just to get their OS update? That's what they deserve? Doesn't feel right to me.

Meanwhile even Motorola (famous for not updating, or being very late) has already launched entry level devices with Android 15.

                  Honor flagship phones are the best. The thing is that a good phone has no major flaws and that's exactly what Samsung and Honor do. I hope Honor further improves their formula because we need some competition.

                        You know..samsung will deliver latest OS upgrade to last 5 generation of flagship (s21 series to s25 series). The first ever in history of Android.

                        Not even Google can't deliver its own Android 15 to its own Pixel 5.

                        Most chinese brand only deliver OS upgrade to their last 2-3 gen of flagship.

                                But, a long lasting iPhone/Samsung need long software support.

                                I have seen many people still use their 4-5 years old iPhone or Samsung (from A series to Flagship series) as their only phone, but never seen someone still using 5 year old chinese phone.

                                  Just like with Samsung Apple Google or anyone else as long as company does not provide 5 years of warranty or equal to years of updates is nothing than gimmick because if something happens to your phone and its warranty is gone is cheaper and better to buy a new phone with new warranty and maximum years of updates than paying 300-500 in case of most expensive flagships 1000 euros for repair.
                                  Whole thing about years of updates is nothing but gimmick. 2 years is more than enough for Eu citizen since they have 2 years of warranty and outside of EU even Apple for their 16 pro max 1TB does not give more than 1 year of warranty and thats a 2000 eur device so having 5-7 or even 10 years of updates is useless.
                                  Fuirst time your device breaks you buy new and bin your old. Is simple as that.

                                    - Display : the same from Magic 6 pro, Without any changes en UFS or USB C speed port
                                    - Price: 100 Euros more
                                    - Battery: less mHa comparing with the Magic6 pro and ver M7P chinese versión without weight changes

                                    SUMMARY
                                    - You´ll pay 100 euros more, for a device with sensitive reduction on batery capacity, with minimal hardware changes, at the same weight, and with unknow ( For now) camera performance

                                      Good. The more OEMs giving longer software support, the better. 5 years imo is a sweet spot. 4 should be minimum. Kudos to Honor.
