Good. The more OEMs giving longer software support, the better. 5 years imo is a sweet spot. 4 should be minimum. Kudos to Honor.

In reality 5 years monthly updates is really fine. And hardware wise Honor is probably the most innovative android company right now. Magic Pad 2 (flagship level OLED tablet for $400), Honor Magic V3, while other companies produce the usual e-waste.

DarlingYext, 15 Jan 2025That's pretty good, and more than enough!Short software support is always enough for low build quality phone.

seems like excellent flagship, I can't believe Honor is back to Indonesia.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2025This small battery in Europe will not last 5 years. LolIt's not great that they nerfed the battery for Europe, but it's still bigger than the S24 Ultra, S25 Ultra, S24+, S25+, Pixel 9 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Ultra etc.

Chinese phones are very good at making promises. Will they fulfill it or how good is the update is a different story.

I have an s23 ultra and I think I will upgrade to Honor Magic 7 Pro. I am so tired of Samsung's lack of innovation.
