Only a few days after the Xperia 1 V.

Side-by-side, it's very comfortable to use one-handed, compared to the Xperia 1 (talking about those till 1 IV), or other phones that for whatever reason get called "compact" like Galaxy S23 which has the exact same width as my 1 III, and is for me so uncomfortable to use that I just avoid it as much as I can (not always possible since it's unfortunately my work phone).

Please SONY return back the priveus version 14 it was working better than 15v

My update hit yesterday. Working great. And battery management seems greatly improved

And that's exactly what they gave them with the 1 VI. Now all of a sudden they don't want that anymore and want Sony to go back to their old realistic approach?

systemUI randomly crashing after the update, apps also become unresponsive after some time of usage.
          Restarted multiple times, nothing helps.

            I just updated today.
My Web UI is crashing now and YouTube is not able to be browsed and controlled by hand as before. Makes it super hard to scroll and very laggy.
I've restarted my phone 3 times now and it's laggy AF and then WebUI crashes and browsing and scrolling in apps like YouTube is almost impossible now.
            I want to rollback! 😠

I updated my Xperia 1 V a couple days ago. The drop down quick settings menu looks a bit 2000, why Sony? Also, my phone has since shut off twice and for no discernible reason.

I agree with this because Sony follow religiously a pure android design.

Own the og Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 iii & I love Xperia 1 with android 11 more compared to 5 with A13. Especially when you can quickly mute the volume with a tap, android 13 & current version of android lose that feature. Small stuff but really convenient and clean design.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2025I am still waiting official Android 15 on Xperia 5 iii. Whe... moreIs Soni a person from GTA? Its Sony bro.

The update works great, but when it comes to features and design changes I would say Android has not been adding much lately, so even having an older flagship like 5 III which will not get Android 15 is fine because you don't miss out on much 🤔

I upgraded my Sony Xperia 1 V to Android 15 this morning. Now Bluetooth will not send audio to any Bluetooth devices even though they are paired and connected. I have had trouble with Bluetooth on this phone since I bought i. I'm not likely to buy another Sony.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2025Right, I forgot for a little while that Sony smartphones exist.Just because it doesn't sell in your country doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Sony never leave my country (Malaysia) at all.
