as an apple fan and holding iPhone 4s in my hand, the most thing that makes me in apple party is the quality, if quality gone, I have no reason to stay with apple, Im going android, I think apple going down after Steve jobs death, as if they wants to destroy it on purpose, iPhone 5 was the beginning of the end, the last quality iPhone was the 4S

Apple just destryoing the reputation of the company and its products by releasing a cheap iPhone. I would have never bought an iPhone 5 if i knew Apple will stoop to this dirty level-making cheap phones like Samsung. Shame on Apple. They have lost their premium brand name.

why such a "war of words" between fans of iphones and androids (samsungs)??
iphones = they work! (and simple to use!)
android/samsungs = just a fashion! a lot of apps not needed and screens too big! (and they work, if the software don´t "crash")

Not because they actually care, just because it's the latest "craze". All the girls in the office have an S4 now, and do you think they need a 5" screen and high-powered CPU to check Facebook and apply their lipstick? No.
Face it, fads are fads and whoever screams louder in the market place will win.
So whether people are "blindly following" Samsung or Apple, either following is pointless.
Choose a device you are personally happy with, and leave the rest alone.

iFashion dictates that whatever Apple dishes out as a new and improved iPhone must be acclaimed as a breakthrough and praised skyhigh. Otherwise one is likely to be branded uncool and iBlind. Looks like innovation in the iPhone camp has plateaued and they are only rehashing the old stuff in new boxes.

Apple will NOT ditch the iPhone 5. Apple will ditch the iPhone 4S, and the lineup will be: 1- iPhone 5S (quad core CPU, better camera and fingerprint stuff), 2- iPhone 5 and 3- iPhone 5C (same internals of the iPhone 4S, but with the 5 element lens camera, faster Wi-Fi and LTE). Without a contract, the 16GB iPhone 5S will cost $650, iPhone 5 $550, iPhone 5C $450 and if they decide to stay with the iPhone 4S, it will cost only $350 a 8GB version.
It does not make sense for apple to ditch the iPhone 5 and stay with the iPhone 4S. The 4S is old in every aspect. That is my prediction of what Apple could announce next month.

not iphone nor andro, 20 Aug 2013Come on guys,what more do you expects ,a phone is a phone a... moreKind of agree, i have used Note 2 also, the size was ok then but when i changed to a Z i realized how much better it was with slightly smaller phone. After that i began to like even smaller phones for some things, i have some compact older android phones that i sometimes use instead of the Z, for example going to party its much better to have a smaller phone, i dont need webbrowsing on Full HD when im drinking, i just need facebook app and a ok camera with flash in a compact size, Xperia U gives me exactly that.
Wanting a smaller phone does not equal to buying an iphone. Even if i wanted one, i dont buy sim locked phones or on contract, it will take long long time before the new iphones will be available sim free to be paid cash here. Maybe February or March 2014. Apple simply does not want to sell phones directly, there is always carrier exclusivity at first, people who have the cash are not allowed to buy. So much for those saying iPhone users have more money, reality is they are lower middle class contract slaves.

Do i need to remind you how useless you guys said Galaxy S was, with "much too big 4 inch, and noone need that high resolution, 320x480 is perfect for the human eye". Even Nokia N900 got so heavy critics from iphans for having multitasking and a ridiculous and useless high res display. Yep, remember now, multitasking was a useless gimmick for iphans, what happened to "noone need that"?
I hope you can see there is a problem when whats "perfect" is always changing to match with apples current offerings.
