That doesn't seem to be the case, because fewer and fewer phones are without microSD card support. I was always the type who didn't seem to care about it until they took the card away. I always miss it. Recently I had to take my phone in for a repair due to a damaged USB-C port, so I needed to back-up 800 GB of data. So instead of just doing basic phone data back-up to Samsung Cloud + pulling out the microSD card, I had to spend 12 hours of my time on this. That was just on the back-up, but it took several days of attempts, because the connection kept dropping due to the faulty USB-C port. I tried doing temporary cloud back-up, but that kept failing due to "connection error", even though I have a super fast internet, altough there is a an occassional small lag pretty often, and because Samsung cannot wait for the connection to be restored, it just cancels the whole trasfer based on one small lag. Miraculously, after a few days the USB-C connection stopped dropping constantly, not sure if because of a software update or because it "corrected itself". Anyway, my point is that microSD cards have a real meaning especially today when we pay exorbitant prices just to get more phone storage. If I have 800 GB of data (porn excluding) at the age of 33, what am I expected to pay for phones when I am 60? Will such storage options even be available with increasing megapixel counts?

I've switched over to the Sony luxury line, the Xperia 1 line (1 iii / 1 IV / 1 V ...).
I did this for the microSD card expansion. If enough people give a shout out to Samsung to bring back the memory card expansion,they will listen. They tried doing away with it with the Galaxy S6 and a lot of people complained so they brought it back. We can force their hands again.

That's why I won't buy Samsung (and apple), their comercial policies are so against customers.
Snapdragon in US, shitty exynox in EU and higher price, no charger, no headphones, slow charging speed, more money for less value. I just hope one day these company will go Nokia's way.
And I have a special hate for Apple, especially for their super limited storage range, frickin high prices and missing charger.
All these companies are so greedy...

You can use old Android phones without any issues, and at least you can still side load apps when they aren't available on the play store. The open source community is strong on this OS.

I've used and abused Samsung Galaxy devices since 2011 in parallel with iPhones and never ever had any screen issues, not once. Sure, batteries are bad out of the box and a power button stopped working on the Note 1 after 6 years, but not one a screen failure.

They will not sale this slim model on major countries because perhaps they lauch with exynos variant instead of Snapdragon and hence they are not launch in US and China and other markets.

Nah, I've used 2 samsung ultra models for the past 3 yrs and I had screen issues (green lines) I am fed up with the sloppy quality of samsung

I like thim devices and if the galaxy s25 slim come with the same hardware as the S25 lineup (S25 base) so it will be great.

Wrong decision. In united states people are more willing to pay more than other countries. On the other hand people rarely buy cheap phones here.

Welp, guess we just gotta hold on to what we have now until their batteries explode or something. It's becoming more difficult to upgrade every 2 years, I see... Guess I'll just stick to my 7a until I'd have to charge it twice a day, 'cus 10a is rumored to use the same SoC as 9a... Reminds me if that time when i7-7700 had 4c/8t, same as ye olde i7-2600... Android is dead guys... At least with Apple, you can still use your old iPhone 11, 'cus it's basically the same thing with iPhone 16... Yup, gonna say it: Apple = best VALUE.
