          First of all, no product is fault-free and each make and model has pros and cons. Contrary to popular belief (and what is known as illusory superiority), most people actually do their research before deciding how to spend their money. Smartphone market is not an exception. It's only those with illusion of their own superiority that think most people are dumb and therefore mass market choices illustrate common stupidity. It's a biased, wrong perception.

          Secondly, it all comes down to personal preference because of point one above. I know Samsung is not subjectively the best choice for everyone. But it's objectively the best choice for a lot of people for whom its shortcomings are either bearable, or downright unimportant, which in turn leads to conclusion that what Samsung (and for that matter - any other manufacturer that secures sales) does right is what people need. Sales numbers reflect that clearly, and in the face of everyone who thinks Samsung/Apple is done, doomed, dead man walking, it just doesn't know it yet.

          It takes a really hardened stance, bordering delusions, to think that people masochistically buy something they don't like and do it to themselves for years just because of a brand name and a logo. Look around. You can't stop people from cooking alive on their own planet if it means they have to take a bus instead of driving a car, because it's more comfy that way, and here you are claiming the planet deliberately buys something they don't like because of a sticker? Please...

                Like i said before, chinese flagship also use same brick with old generic ugly big circle camera island for years, but only Apple/Samsung flagship that sell well.🤫

                    I should probably stop there, but see, Samsung seems to agree with me if the rumor is true.
                    They hold data behind S-Pen usage. If the rumor is true and they drop air gestures, it would turn out air gestures are unpopular and not worth spending the money producing it.
                    We shall see.

                      I use them to take pictures and videos which is far more useful than Apple's stupid camera button and there's absolutely no reason to remove them because you like less features on your phone

Just like you, translating text, selecting screenshot area for my notes, writing notes and last - but not least - my son loves drawing with it :)

                              I only commented air actions on S-Pen - from my experience, I can live without them, though the S-Pen itself is one of the reasons I loved Ultras (and Notes of old).
