well i have 2 say that i like this phone i have an S500i atm and i rly wana change ive had it for a whole year,im more of a music person so i need a W series,and i love sony ericsson thats all il ever buy,and i love slide phones,so i cant settle for anything else.MY million dollar question is,when will the exact release date be,and how much wld u estimate it 2 be???????????plz gve me a reply

nice design..dont compare s.e with nokia..coz if we see 1st generation of walkman w800 is more advance then nokia,...Nseries respons were very slow compare with s.e..i use n95,its always hang and standby time were very limit..2.6 inch with 950mAh..off course it has limited standby time

What is wrong with SE and Nokia?? It seems they got stuck with the same designs and can´t move forward...(be careful... same thing happened to another phone company...cough, moto, cough)... They should take a look at what Samsung, LG and HTC are doing nowadays! Maybe something will rub off..

Sony ericsson rules......Nothing can replace SE they make ultimate models and accessories...i like the model and Nokia is worst of all

well, I'm one of SE fans that not like the way SE build the w705 design.. it is like my w610 circle menu button. back to 2 years ago! same like w810 design too..
but, nice try SE.. WIFI + clear audio + 2,4inch. how 'bout the price? hope reasonable..

Not true...The P990 and P1i has wi-fi. Check your facts

But recently SE have been falling back and this is yet another example. A phone which looks near enough identical to another, yet somehow looks more ugly and unsuitable...:-\ I really don't think this will be a market hit for a second.
Features are good, as this'll be the first W-series with Wifi but SE need new phone designers fast. Also, I think adding the media center to other phones was a mistake, I always thought the walkman series should only have the walkman player (including megabass).
