More senior Honor executives leave the company

After the CEO, now the China CMO and Sales Chief also resign.

George Zhao resigned as Honor's CEO last week, prompting further changes at the smartphone company's executive level. A recent report disclosed that the Global Marketing Chief, the Chief Marketing Officer for China, and the Sales leader for China have all left the company.

Obviously something went wrong with the global release of the Honor Magic 7 Pro with the smaller battery..

I would guess the sales of the Honor Magic 7 Pro in the UK / EU have crashed and Honor have decided to bring out a refreshed Magic 7 Pro in April with the bigger battery.. If you look at the discounts Honor are giving £300 off + buy your old phone for a price +£100 on top of that + 5% off with the company I work for , looks like they just want to sell them off quick... I could of got the Honor Magic 7 Pro for £450 With selling my Honor magic 5 pro to them with the extra £100 + £300 off+ 5% off with the company I work for I still decided I'm not going to and either wait until April or wait for the Honor Magic 8 pro

The rumour is that the Honor Magic 7 Pro did not pass the RF shielding rules in the EU/ UK, so Honor had 2 choices 1. Fix the RF shielding or 2. Put a smaller battery inside (smaller battery than in the Honor Magic 6) Honor decided the cheaper and quicker option smaller battery..... Whatever happened at Honor with the Magic 7 Pro battery downgrade in the UK/EU the CEO and others have gone ...

Dr MWG, 22 Jan 2025All i know is Honor phones is among best. The magics phone ... moreIn my country, the exploitative networks market the Honor 200 as a flagship device. We don't get the magic series.
I hope Honor keeps a check of the Marketing & Promotion channels, because that's what will make or break the success of the brand.

Honor makes up for a modern 2016 Samsung, for better or worse. The same issue is there with their software support (only one Android version upgrade for most of their devices, if not, none).

TheSnowWinterR7, 22 Jan 2025Okay, what's happening here? Why more executives are l... moreBecause the technology industry today itself is a cesspool. No innovation, no improvements, just AI brandings and lack of direction for the same hardware that existed 8 years ago.

Well, they sure did a good job in elevating Honor as a stand-alone brand. Honor has now positioned itself as a modern Nokia, prioritizing durability on their campaigns while offering excellent bang for the buck, and even bigger price cuts before launching their next upgrade.

All i know is Honor phones is among best. The magics phone are very amazing, I love it. Long live Honor phones in general

                        Hodor, hold the door!

i still believe Huawei is internally involved and running this company because think about it their software is 1:1 copy of harmony os, their camera algorithm are same ,most tech Huawei develops is usually found in a honour phone just within a very short time and vice versa
not to mention the abnormal amount of employee shuffling between these companies

Well soon or later they join back to Huawei and become fully independed company without Google and USA.
                            God bless Huawei and Honor.
