More senior Honor executives leave the company
George Zhao resigned as Honor's CEO last week, prompting further changes at the smartphone company's executive level. A recent report disclosed that the Global Marketing Chief, the Chief Marketing Officer for China, and the Sales leader for China have all left the company.
A company representative commented that "this is a routine adjustment of regional managers."
Guo Rui, previously the CMO for overseas operations, will now take on the CMO position for the domestic market. He replaces Jiang Hairong, who is reportedly exiting the company. Additionally, Zheng Shubao, the sales chief, is resigning and will be succeeded by Chen Haoqian, the former head of operations for East China.
Honor is reportedly gearing up for an IPO, yet the company might face an unfavorable market landscape. Reports indicate that 2024 shipments have decreased year over year, and the foldable segment's growth stalled last year.
