I know it scales based on available RAM, bit that means Android 15 full OS uses at least 8GB of RAM. I don't game, just browse and watch YouTube, but someone with many apps in background and playing games can easily reach the limits of it. And let's be honest we all know how bloated One UI 7 is with all that AI and Samsung propriatery app crap, they doing it in purpose, they don't want to give you 16GB, they want to make sure not going to have great live in 4 years time or so and get comfy with huge amount of RAM, system will slow down with all the Samsung bloatware it will have in Android 19 and here you go you will buy new Samsung with 16GB of RAM that time 🤣 and cycle continues 🙂

Whatever. I could do better app switching on ancient smartphones with 512 MB RAM. Meanwhile phones with 16 GB RAM kill one app opened in background after four seconds.

That’s not only to OLED and some people are affected by the PWM screen and not all. I have both my iP12 Max(4 years) and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra(almost 2 years now) and not had issues with my eyes.
However, I work from home and using 2 24” LCD screens and I HAVE TO USE Blue filter glasses just to use the monitors and they are not that bright at all. So it depends on a case by case basis

It is pretty much g... moreYes and it is pretty much guaranteed that you will suffer from OLED induced eye problems if you continue to stare into an OLED screen. Check reddit if you don't believe me. Many people are complaining about the eyesight issues they got due to OLED technology, which operates at a frequency that is very harmful to the human eye.
I will only buy Samsung phone if they put an excellent flicker free IPS LCD screen into their smartphones, which of course will never happen. We all know how much Samesuck likes to shove those cheap medioce OLED screen into their customers throats.

Meanwhile Asus put 24GB RAM on their phone with the same processor . If it wouldn't have only 2 years of OS updates I'd jump boats to Asus .
For the regular people 12GB RAM maybe be sufficient , but for tech geeks like me and a lot of people it's not enough . My phone is screaming when I boot it into Windows and hit the play button on Winamp 😆 - retro stuff (I have multiple OS's on my phone) .
