Regular S25: simply the best compact Android phones feel on the market, probably for the year.
S25+: feels lighter than it looks. Not bad, typical run of the mill flagship.
S25 Ultra: improved handling? Did you guys even handle the same phone? The S25 Ultra is extremely uncomfortable to hold. The edges are too sharp. Really poor design.
The lineup is alright. S22 users or older would be the prime candidates for upgrades, especially if you are in Exynos region. The SD8elite iwill be a huge improvement overall. If you have S23 or later, I don’t really see the point of upgrading unless the new AI features are a must have for you (that is assuming Samsung wouldn’t trickle down the features).

"Aside from the new chipset, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are unchanged from their predecessors." which were already only minor changes from their predecessors.
They have the same camera hardware from s22 , which itself wasn't flagship grade at the time of launch. Ridiculous.

AnonD-1187531, 26 Jan 2025I'm sure GSMArena must have observed that Samsung post... moreMost android user admire Samsung flagship not mediocre chinese flagship, hence why many written article about Samsung.
I can say most Android user, because in reality Samsung dominates the Android flagship market with 40 millions Samsung flagship sold from last year only.
Anyway why did you change your name for 276th times?

DarlingYext, 26 Jan 2025"Aside from the new chipset, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy... moreOr the fact that they half-asses the Qi2 functionality where you still need a MagSafe style case to use Qi2 chargers and powerbanks as intended.
But of course, integrating Qi2 completely and not as a marketing gimmick would've been more work and more spending for Samsung. I'm honestly disappointed.

"The new take on Samsung's UI feels fresh"
Oh yeah, nothing fresher than yet another Android skin that's just a rip-off of iOS. SUPER fresh...
"We may be ready for a world where the smallest Galaxy S or the middle one is unneeded."
The smallest Galaxy is the best selling one. They'd have to be absolutely insane to axe it (then again, TM Roh is as smart as a rock...).
The Plus, on the other hand, is a continued flop. And so is the FE these past few years. And so will be the fake-Edge.
If you want to make the line-up make sense and have appeal, you should have Galaxy S25 Compact (or 25e if you want to repeat names) at 5.8", a Galaxy S25 at 6.2" or 6.3" and then the Ultra at whatever kitchen-table size it's at now (I don't know by heart and don't care).
The Plus models are useless. People who want a phone that doubles as a dinner tray will go for the Ultra. People who aren't interested in that, go for the smallest possible. That's why you see the S Plus and the iPhone Plus being failures. But God forbid OEMs should actually listen to the market instead of trying to dictate what people should or shouldn't want...

Anonymous, 26 Jan 2025There should be no era of ANY company - we (consumers) shou... moreOne thing I tell you the fact, AnTuTu is Scam . You are at a loss to pay a high price for something that is almost the same.I mean the chipset companies or anything that improves the performance of the phone only make breakthroughs once every 3-4 years. For example, the video of Samsung S21 Ultra 888 vs S24 Ultra 8 gen 3, has a difference in application opening time of 2 seconds. Is paying $1500 vs $600 more worth it? Score Antutu have been manipulated. Since 2020. The original is version 8, score Antutu versions 9 and 10 are scams. Snapdragon 8 gen Elite score 3.000.000 is Inflation = Reality score antutu is 1.660.000

I am surprised why Samsung doesn't use their best cameras in their flagship phones, but sell them to their competitors. It is like they don't care about their own customers...

DarlingYext, 26 Jan 2025"One UI 7 is great, AI finally looks appealing"
... moreWe'll see how long that lasts, more and more companies are bundling the AI stuff with ANY POSSIBLE paid service lately because it's becoming very clear that nobody is going to bother paying for AI features at all (I mean sure, there are people but nowhere near enough to justify the development cost).
Given the NPU development and the amount of pretty reasonable models you can run locally, it's only a matter of time until someone comes up with an app (if that hasn't happened yet) that will be doing all this for free on the phone itself and force them to completely re-think this.

jiyen235, 26 Jan 2025far superior experience for gestures. And it's a quad ... moreI don't want ANY curvature on the screen. No 2.5d, no micro curves or whatever, nothing. I've used the Galaxy S10+ for 3 years and i didn't see any superior experience with anything. The only things that did happen was annoying me with accidental touches and the screen cracking on the curved part
Moving to Apple was a great decision i made in 2022 with the 14 Pro Max but now that Samsung got rid of those curved abominations i would actually consider returning. Maybe next year with the S26 Ultra...

Not a single upgrade except soc. At least they could change design, put bigger batteries or something. Doesn't have sense to get it if u have s24, and even s23 series.
