Bottom line is -> 90% were DoA or died within months/an year max. Not a single one lasted even close to the original, which the device in question came with. And all of them had 100000000 top user opinions and reviews ;)

looks like Chinese companies don't care about power consumption optimization after using theses big batteries.

So it is basically a 4000-4500 mAh battery.. What's the point of large battery capacity if the usage time is considerably lower and worse than phones with less battery capacity. Maybe Realme needs optimization.

Their battery test doesnot reflect the real world test done on camera. Check all the videos on YouTube. Iphone 16 has 15 hours and realme has 9 hours. No other test give such results.

I don't think it's a defective smartphone, how long have you encountered such a defect? The only thing you can hope for is a firmware update.

I could understand if the battery life was the same as the 13ro+, but when it is lower. This is very strange. Either you have to wait for the first update, or this was done specifically so as not to create competition for other Oppo smartphones. After all, even the 13pro+ is very good - excellent cameras, no lags and a great battery. And the 14pro+ are also waterproof. As Gsma themselves wrote, "Who needs flagships?", they signed a "death sentence"

there is definitely a problem there, we could expect an overall 2x longer lifespan given the specs and how Realme optimizes their smartphones. Faulty model or major software problem that will be corrected?

The reason of Redmi, Poco and Realme's few models is their battery endurance, battery life. They aren't giving priority to the battery but buyers gives priority in each and every aspects of the phone. According to battery test, the Realme 14+ Pro plus is a failure device! It's not all rounder one in which we can spend money! Sorry Realme now I'm not waiting for your full review!

Sounds like 4000 mah battery. I think need some software update to fix that problem.

Well that's weird, I already got the phone and the battery life is really good (8-8½ SoT w/5G)
I also got an update yesterday that should improve the cameras and system stability so I have to recheck the battery again even though I think it will still be roughly the same.

I think that SD 7s gen 3 is great soc, I had SD 4 gen 2 fabed by Samsung and my screen on time was 10 hrs with 5000 mah which is amazing result, and that was on Hyper OS. Don't know why so much hate on Samsung fabed process, my experience was great.
