It really does need far better cameras for that price. If it is once again a ROG with a slightly different back, it's going to be far back of the competition.

Bring back the small form factor...

So I can upgrade from my Zenfone 9.

1000$ phone with 2 years of software updates?

Sure, it's not bad as a phone, but many better SD8E flagships exist. Asus went downhill after the dedicated ZF design team went away after the ZF10. At this point, you might as well buy the ROG 9, or better, the OP13.

It seems like the phone division of this company is steadily heading towards its demise, following the phone division of El_Jee.

dont even know why they are coming up with these models every year where nobody really cares. no inovation nothing. At least the M1 and M2 series were something being budget friendly. Why are their phones so thick and big? Ulra that Ultra this, its getting as boring as F

Looks sick! I’ll 100% buy it if it’s not all about AI. Please be the first SD 8 Elite phone without AI gimmicks!

Asus is the only brand nowadays that offers solid gaming performance and cameras with gimball even better than Oneplus

I’ve had a terrible experience with the Asus ROG Phone 5, and I’ve decided never to buy an Asus phone again. Their devices are simply unreliable. The system often hangs, and the phones die unexpectedly—usually due to motherboard issues. My ROG Phone 5 has died twice already, and I’ve been requesting a refund since the very first incident. Asus seriously needs to improve their quality because this has been nothing but a frustrating ordeal.

after what they have done to ROG and Zenfone series, i don't think there are many buyers for these phones

Calm down, Asus. Nobody's getting excited for a generic rebrand

                          Boring AF

                            Looks interesting 😍

Yet another brick in the wall.

I love Asus phones, but until they expand their support to at least 4 years of OS updates, I'm not buying a Zenfone again.
Just thinking that the Zenfone 10 is about to reach EOL in may, makes me angry.

Don’t care, another generic huge heavy ugly phone from Asus. And we know they could do something unique but decided against it.
