128GB is 500 dollar for midrange phone better then A53 and SE 2022 But this year we also have SE 2025, but Google is ahead of its competitors in midrange phones Samsung and Apple, and in my opinion 7 years of major os can really be unique for Google and lead to better sales.
And the sad thing is that in 2025 Apple's use of 60Hz display☠️

But it is still not justifiable with a 100 increase in price for just a 128 gb upgrade

256GB chip cost around 10 bucks, but I bet that companies can buy them in bulk for half of that if not less. They use the same machine to put it on board, software wise is pretty much no cost, printing on package is maybe 0.01$ But F that lets make customer pay 100$ more!
