I don't like this trend of companies now charging absurdly for storage upgrades. They removed the expansion slot, it's now clear why

      because everything is these days

Pixel a series is a stripped down version just like iPhone SE
So it makes no sense to buy it anyways. At early days it was compact in size but now it's not that smaller then others. 6.1 inch screen but 152mm tall that is 6mm more then other 6.1 inch screen phones. Xiaomi 15 is like 6.3 inch screen for the same body size

At 500 starting price for that 128GB storage version is a joke. At that price there is range of phone to get that even have like 12-16GB RAM and 512GB to 1TB of storage on the phone. Not that the more is needed but the point is still that you get a lot more for the money in hardware then you get with Pixel a series. Pixel hardware is also middle class even on their so called flagships. They get like SD 7+ gen 2 performance or a bit more then that. Something in the middle of 7+ gen 2 and D8300U

Why not to charge that much when Xiaomi for Note 14 pro + asking 500€?!
