Sony Xperia 10 V gets Android 15 update

First impression of the android 15 update on this device is "Eww!".
The app icons have become slightly bigger and the spacing between them and widgets looks worse.
The quick settings panel is more square and that looks worse.

      Tip. If you no longer have cellular data after the update. You may need to enter the APN (from your carrier) settings manually.

You can probably do the first thing yourself too, but not without it taking a lot of time. Samsung allows you to quickly change the volume of music, voices and noises with their new features.

                  Sony really needs to go back to having a specific ROM, bring back Xperia Themes and the proper one-handed mode and drop this stockish-garbage.
                  It's bad enough they don't have a normally sized smartphone.

                      Only 1.1 GB? My Motorola had 1.9 GB update with no changes back in November.

                            ProVisual Engine on S24 also gives more AI editing and processing features than many phones with Android 15.

                              while the Xperia 10 IV should also be able to get updates because it uses the same SoC SD695... Also Sony uses barebone OS which should be lightweight.

                                I sometimes feel that update size is equal to optimization.
                                Chinese phone get 6-7 gb update, probably with minimum optimal.

                                    Okayy, good to hear the Xperia 10 V already received its Android 15 update, after the Xperia 1 VI, 1 V, and 5 V already received them. Meaning Xperia 10 VI is the last one to get one, hopefully not too far behind.
