Sony Xperia 10 V gets Android 15 update
Sony has begun seeding its Android 15 update to the Xperia 10 V. This is the latest device from the brand to receive the big update, following the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 5 V, which got updated earlier this month.
The update is currently seeding to users in Hungary and other European nations and is expected to arrive in more regions soon. It features the 68.2.A.2.38A build number and weighs 1.1GB.
Android 15 update for Xperia 10 V
We don't have a detailed changelog covering the new features, but it should be in the same line as the other Xperias that got Android 15. These include Private space, new wallpapers, new home screen/lock screen styles, new Side Sense features, a redesigned quick settings panel and notification shade, new pop-up windows, and Bluetooth broadcasting over Bluetooth LE Audio, among others.
Android 15 is likely the last major OS update for the Xperia 10 V, which originally launched with Android 13. The device is also scheduled to receive security updates until June 2026.

First impression of the android 15 update on this device is "Eww!". The app icons have become slightly bigger and the spacing between them and widgets looks worse. The quick settings panel is more square and that looks worse. Eww.
