You gotta admit that it would be pretty cool if Samsung would make the S Pen work on all S series , not just on the Ultra .

        Some approaches can be suggested:-

        1. Make the S-Pen a wired, thin pen for noting, sketching, etc. Bluetooth module from S-Pen will go, and all features will be available except wireless ones, which can be handled using watch, etc.

        2. Make the S-Pen a combo of wired and wireless. It should work wired for normal work like sketching, etc and have a really small battery, say 0.1 mah for touch/ wireless signals when detached from the cable, and it need not be bluetooth, it can be some other wireless radio standard.

        3. Have S-Pen separate for those who need it, fully functional. We can have a casing in the body or a special mobile cover, to keep this S-Pen.

Most people don't use it as often. But I'd like to know it's there because I'm paying a super premium price that ended up as high partly due to the differentiating features of the phone having the S Pen with the remote functionality.

On a side note, I can almost bet if the plus or regular model had the S Pen, some people would opt for them over the Ultra model.

I'm very disappointed 😞 I used the pen for pictures all the time, it was such a great convenience. Not having to ask some stranger to take mine and my wife's pictures was great. I ordered my phone before I realized the Bluetooth feature was removed. Why Samsung did this I'll never understand. And now they're all hopped up on this AI thing and honestly I could care less about any of that stuff. I want my Bluetooth pen back😡

Well time is money faster is better. Everytime using an S pen takes like 2 seconds to take it out and put it in thats 4 seconds. In a whole day it could means anywhere between 30 seconds to 5 minutes wasted for something that fingers can perfectly do and even better.

I have been using the S-pen a lot as a remote shutter for group photos. Family gatherings, at work, on vacation, etc. where I can position my phone facing the group, walk back to join for the photo and simply press the button on the S-pen. Everyone wonders - "wow, how did you do that?", and I proudly show off this feature that the Galaxy Ultra offers and no one else.

This has enabled me to get great photos and catch valuable memories for myself and others. With this unique feature gone there is little incentive for me to stick with Samsung Ultra anymore, it is down to the same level as other Android phones and Apple, as I am starting to upgrade my phone this year.

They've decided to remove the S-pen bluetooth functions forcing you to buy their galaxy watches and even that ridiculous galaxy ring as a glorified shutter button. Omitting useful features and accessories to "save" the planet is just their version of Apple marketing.
